AMANDA LIPITZ

Amanda Lipitz

AMANDA LIPITZ is a director, writer, producer, and co-founder of Key to the City Productions. Her second documentary, FOUND, which she directed and produced with Impact Partners and Kindred Spirit Productions, was released on Netflix in 2021. Prior to that, she directed and produced the documentary, STEP, which debuted at the Sundance Film Festival and was distributed by Fox Searchlight. Amanda co-created and directed MOTHERHACKER, a scripted podcast with Gimlet Media and Spotify starring Carrie Coon.

Additionally, Amanda is an accomplished Broadway producer. Her Broadway producing credits include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Legally Blonde the Musical, The Performers, A View from the Bridge (Tony Award, Best Revival) and The Humans (Tony Award, Best Play). Off-Broadway, Amanda developed and produced Brooklynite at The Vineyard Theatre. Amanda also created and served as executive producer on the MTV series LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL: THE SEARCH FOR ELLE WOODS.

Amanda graduated with a BFA in theater from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and now serves on the board of the school. She previously served on the board of trustees at New York University.

Amanda lives in New York City with her husband, two daughters and son.

HENRY Tisch

Henry Tisch

HENRY TISCH is a producer and co-founder of Key to the City Productions, where he leads development and manages projects across the company's full theater, film, and television slates. He is also a co-producer of the Museum of Broadway, an experiential museum that celebrates Broadway located in the heart of Times Square. Before founding Key to the City, Henry was a Creative Development professional at the Disney Theatrical Group. At Disney, he was involved in the development of new works for the Broadway, international, and licensing markets, as well as maintenance of long-running shows.

Henry has also spearheaded philanthropic and fundraising efforts for several leading organizations. He serves on the board of The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), which provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals. He also serves on the board of New 42, which serves young people, artists and educators through its signature projects, the New Victory Theater and New 42 Studios. In 2021, he produced I'm Still Here, a hybrid virtual/in-person benefit celebrating the Billy Rose Theatre Division at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, where he serves on the Theatre Committee. He has also led fundraising efforts for Broadway for Biden and Robin Hood.

Henry is a native New Yorker. He holds a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Yale University.

Alexz Renteria

Producing Assistant

Alexz Renteria has worked as a producing assistant for Key To The City Productions since April 2021. Prior to joining Key To The City, Alexz worked at Gunpowder & Sky and Blumhouse Productions. Her previous credits include: director's assistant and production coordinator for Netflix's The Pharmacist, Hulu's Fyre Fraud, Paramount Network's The Trayvon Martin Story and Blumhouse's Sinister 2.

Alexz was born in Phoenix, Arizona and received her BA degree in Cinema Art + Science with a minor in Arts Management from Columbia College in Chicago.
